About me

Norway 2015 122A lifelong New Englander adjusting to a new life in England. Trying to travel as much as possible and figure out expat life one adventure at a time.

Nearly three years ago, my partner and I made the huge decision to move across the pond.  I enjoy posting about the trials and adventures of expat life and all of our European travel adventures. It’s a struggle at times, and I’ll never live down asking my (male) coworkers where I could buy suspenders for Halloween (I swear it isn’t lingerie in America!) and I’ve a growing affinity for British cuisine.

A lifelong love of travel was sparked by my study abroad experience in South Africa, and I’ve followed it up with travels to 21 other countires…and counting! Living in the Lake District of the UK has led to lots of local exploring and travel throughout the UK and I’m always looking for new and exciting places to visit.

So funny – I know a blogger, who’s blog is named Old England to New England and you’ve got it other way round 🙂 Sounds interesting!
