I’ve been a bad blogger this month, we’ve been busy at home and work and I haven’t had the motivation to write. We’re home almost every weekend in April though, which should give me plenty of free time!
In mid-March, we flew to Sicily and spent 3 nights in Catania, which was a great spot for exploring Mt Etna, Siracusa and eating SO MUCH FOOD. We also took a cooking class that was the highlight of our trip that I’ll post about soon!
The following weekend, despite having a cold, I took part in one of my favourite road races for the last time (at least for a while), the Coniston 14, a fourteenish mile race around the lake. I finished only 2 minutes slower than last year when I was training for London, so pretty happy with that.
At the end of the month, we flew to Bucharest and spent a week exploring Tranyslvania which was so much different than I thought it would be, but equally amazing!
This month, I’m trying to not stress too much about the future, since we don’t really know what we’re doing yet, and to finalise our plans for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy and the World Cup trips.
